Oh what fun fall is!!!

OH I love this girl. I got a new IPhone and Lauren and I enjoyed taking lots of pictures of us together.

Did you see I also got fall colored hair too:-)

 

 

 

 

 Lauren kept telling me she wanted to be Ariel over and over again. So when I was at the store (by myself- almost never happens) I picked her up a costume and wig. Well, she didn't love it so much.

See the grumpy face... HAHAHA

She wasn't too thrilled when she looked at herself in the mirror either.

She and Landon were rolling all around the house cuddling one day...so sweet.

 

Lauren had a friend over and they were playing great together and her friends mom (my good friend) were just chatting away until Ellie (my friend) heard Lauren said "Landon, no you can't have scissors" Well we walked in and thankful only Lauren had cut her hair because her friend had never ever had a hair cut before and I was very glad that Lauren wasn't her first beauty stylist.

 

This is her hiding her new do after she realized how awful it looked.

Very upset little girl...as she should be. I mean short bangs are so not in :-)

This is her 2nd hair cut ever.

all done and much happier.

We are working on Lauren coloring with patience and focus.  She seems to get a little restless and just start scribbling.

Here she is counting with bears. We are working on counting to 50. Right now she can count to 29 for sure and if I help remind her of the 10's numbers she can count to 50.

Introducing....the kiddos

I have decided I don't like using pet names for my kiddos. It's too hard to remember to use those each time. LOL So I am going to be using their given names.

What a relief it will be for me to not have to proof read over to make sure I didn't accidentally use their real names. I'm an awful proof reader anyways so this helps :-)

 



Cupcakes

 

Cupcake time!!!

 

I had two little helpers to make Landon's birthday cupcake cake.

Lauren poured and her cousin read the instructions and whipped the ingredients.

I used the mixer....YUM

They had to put the cupcake liners in then...

They got to lick away at the batter.

They went in the oven, but the licking continued HAHA

 

 

Out they came and in went another batch.

Green construction paper and permenant markers made this special football field. I arranged the chocolate cupcakes in a football shape.

Added chocolate frosting to the top of each cupcake.

 

Then I started to smooth out the frosting.

Piped with white frosting to make laces and it was complete!

Ready to be blown out.

Landon needed help from mommy.

He sure loved his cake!!! He got so messy we had to give him a bath.

 

Family Time!!!!

We have Visitors!!!!!

We have Scott's sister and brother in law in town. We get so happy be spend time with family. They are in the Air Force and live in New Mexico so we get to see them about every 6 months, which is still crazy to think about since they used to live one house away from us. Sister grew up seeing them almost everyday so she misses them like crazy. She is always asking me where her "friends" are. We skype sometimes but when they are here she is in cousin heaven :-) I am one lucky Aunt to have 4 awesome nephew and 1 adorable niece.

 

These sweet little girls love to play dress up..but really what girl doesn't :-)

Brother Bear turns ONE

My Sweet Sweet Boy Turns 1 Today!!!

Brother Bear is so adorable. He was born 9-7-11 at 10:01am. He weighed 9lbs and 2 oz and was 20in.

1 year later he has 7 teeth, weighs 19lbs and is 26 inches tall.

He walks/runs-laughs-eats all foods-and still nurses.

He likes to rough house with his Daddy and loves to pull his sisters hair. He likes his blanket and binky and needs them both to sleep. He is not a cuddler and won't all anyone to rock him. He LOVES baths and likes to knock down Sis's block towers. He puts everything in his mouth. He loves the movie Tangled and enjoy reading books that are touch and feel.

 

I thought for sure he would be my last one...but the more I think about it lately I'm not so sure. There are times when I think one each would work great for us, then there are other times when I think..he can't be my last baby...he is growing up so quickly. This year went by way to fast and I need the next year to slow down...This beautiful baby boy has changed my life forever!

 

 

 

Fun New Things!!!

 

Some new fun things are happpening in this house... 

 

Sis got her 1st bike. She had a tricycle but this is her big girl bike. We had to help her learn to push the pedals around and then focus on steering. She did well. She fell off when she was turning and she cried (because she is a girl ) and then I talked her into getting back on. What a big girl she is becoming!!!

Brother Bear learned how to crawl up on Sissy's bed. Geesh, he will soon have many brusies in his pictures.

Did I mention Sis taught him how to jump on her bed..GREEAT!!

 

Last but not least Sis got to go back o AWANA cubbies this week. She really loves her Cubbies!

CO-OP Wednesday (on Thursday)

Our weekly co-op was at my house this week. Because grandparents day is on Sunday we decided we would make something fun for our grandpa and grandma.
